About us
We are paediatric surgeons, and great friends. We’ve worked together across two countries for over 20 years. We have considerable experience from Australia and New Zealand and have been practising in Queensland for over 15 years. We work in the public sector at the Queensland Children’s Hospital in Brisbane and privately in various centres in Brisbane and Sunshine Coast. We offer a wide range of services for children’s healthcare throughout Queensland and Northern New South Wales through telehealth technology.
They are also involved in statewide safety and quality improvement, policy formation and healthcare planning. They are members of various state and national educational and executive boards and committees to improve healthcare outcomes for children.
Prof Craig McBride

Craig’s interests lie in minimal access surgery, thoracics, hepatobiliary surgery, burns, as well as the full range of paediatric surgical conditions. He is the medical lead for safety and quality at the Queensland Children’s Hospital.
Dr Bhavesh Patel
MBChB FRACS FACS CHIA
Bhavesh brings expertise in minimal access surgery, paediatric and neonatal surgery, colorectal surgery and urology. He also works in digital health, quality improvement and health informatics. He is the QLD state surgical clinical lead for quality improvement.
